Rescued Shetland Sheep

A Covid victim has reached out for assistance. This is an unexpected emergency. While stuck in quarantine in another state, they lost their caretaker for their animals.  Once notified the animals were in poor shape a crisis team sprung into action.

Washington Crisis Team Lead on the “The Rescued Shetland Sheep” which includes 27 sheep, 1 livestock guardian dog, 5 poultry,  2 rabbits & 2 chinchillas needs your help.


12-18-2020 All animals were moved to quarantine in a safe dry location and proper intake documentation & photos taken.

12-20-20202 deworming, delousing and some vitamin B12 oral as well as temporary shelter and other care has been given and they are on the mend, but assistance with feed is needed if you can help.

 *Update* The owner is still stuck on the east cost she became ill with Covid-19 and while recovering from covid-19 has had additional health complications and at this time just got out of the hospital but is still under doctor care and not yet released to travel. Now there are 15 ewes who are ALL Pregnant and getting close to lambing, so any help is greatly appreciated.
